Exam Day Checklist

  • Know the three ways to work: Copilot Chat is a conversation you steer, an agent handles a scoped and repeatable task, and Cowork is an assignment you hand off.
  • Know what needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot license: work-data grounding through Microsoft Graph, Researcher, Analyst, and scheduled prompts. Copilot Chat alone is web-grounded.
  • Copilot only returns content the user can already open. Sensitivity labels and Purview DLP can restrict results further, so a missing file is often a permissions or label question.
  • Verify before you act: open the citations, check facts and numbers, and add human review when the stakes are high.
  • Expect both product names. Learn now calls Microsoft 365 Copilot "Microsoft Copilot", while the study guide still uses the older name.
  • Read the final sentence of a long scenario first to find the actual question.
  • Watch for qualifiers such as NOT, BEST, and MOST appropriate.
  • You have 45 minutes and need 700 to pass. Flag hard questions and come back; change an answer only with a clear reason.
